Float is the first single taken her upcoming Album ‘18.104.22.168’ which is set for release in 2018. “22.214.171.124.” sees a matured Tholwana whose lyrical and musical prowess is matched by the urban leaning pop production of dynamic electronic duo Future Kings.
Born in Steinkopf Tholwana Mohale, is a seventeen year old singer and songwriter who took the crown as South Africa’s Got Talent winner in 2014. Tholwana started singing in 2011, her school offered guitar classes and her mom signed her up for the lessons. She realised then, that her was her talent and started developing it further from then. She started singing at the age of two, but her whole act got off the ground when she turned 11 years old. Tholwana is a whole packaged entertainer. She enjoys being on stage and doing what she feels passionate about. 2014 was a breakthrough year for the young talent. She entered eTV’s SA’s Got Talent and was a clear frontrunner and fan favourite to win the competition right on the offset. Her performances left the crowds on their feet, but most notably so during the finals, where her rendition of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” resulted in a standing ovation. That night, she was crowned as the overall winner, taking home a cash prize and a recording contract with Sony Music Africa. In 2017 Tholwana released her debut EP “Warrior” which received strong critical acclaim and saw Tholwana feature as Apple Music Artist Spotlight for 2017.
